About Us

In January 2025, the Deckers established Midwest CPR Safety & More in SW Illinois.  They are excited to share effective, engaging and efficient safety trainings to the area.  While MW CPR Safety & More is new, they have many years of experience in providing safety training to individuals, businesses and schools.

Scott and Dawn Decker founded ABC Safety Trainings, LLC in 2021 to make life-saving training effective, empowering and efficient for all.  Starting like so many other small businesses do, from a desk at home.

​​​In less than a year, they were able to train over 2,000 people in CPR. They quickly became one of the premier CPR training centers in Springfield, MO. 

​

They earned Top Training Provider award from the American Red Cross in 2021, 2022 and 2023. ​​​

​

In 2024, the Deckers decided to sell the business to move to another state to be closer to some of their family and grandchildren.  Scott and Dawn enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughter-in-love and granddaughters every chance they get.
